Yeah.. Choco....atleast in Bollywood the movie they come in as a lead is considered as a debutant performance and given the best debut awrd...

Technically it shld be when they first started acting no matter what role it is...(child, side, lead)...

but you know B town and its messed up fundas..😆

i always consider debuts as the VERY FIRST MOVIE no matter how big or small the role may be, and not the very first highly acclaimed movie.

It's so messed up..I would count an actor's first film as their debut...😆

So in a few years, Darsheel's debut might not be TZP? 😆

Oh well...Bollywood has no yard stick to measure....No set criteria... Most of the times the debutant who's movie becomes a hit or a movie which made an impact that person gets the best debut award... like Sonakshi this year and Imran got when his movie came out...same with Hritthik, Ranbir, Vidya etc...

Best debute for sure is Hrithik....he came out with ek pal jeena. He had good looks, good dancing and good acting.

Also SRK, Salman, Shahid and Aamir khan had a great debute since their first movie did well

from the girls, Deepika and Preity zinta had a great launch. Now Sonakshi and Ranveer had a great start as well

Exactly ... Choco.. That is what i was thinking up until Asin walked away with all the best debut awrds....I found that really amusing... she is a seasoned/experienced Tamil/Malyalam actress with tons of films... and Ghajini was a remake of the same tamil film in which she was the lead...so this role in Ghajini was a breeze...and she gets the best debut ....😆

Thats when i realised B town's funda of best debutant is when they play a lead in a bollywood movie...
