Very mean article when most of the actors in Bollywood are over rated, over exposed and over what have you and products of well oiled PR machinery and high level contacts.....I guess she needs a blockbuster now to shut people up....and what rubbish...the industry does not give work to non performers for long...😆 what a joke! The biggest stars are just that stars...I would have taken this article seriously if they would also do an analysis on some of the non-performers with "blockbusters" and "super hits". I saw PC movies and she is not that bad....but yes she is not that great either but definitely better than a lot of other actors.

i hated her acting in Pyar impossible the most..i hated the movie overall. even though the movie sucked she could have gotten some acknowledgment, but her OTT performance ruined it. SHe was suppose to play a mother and ended up acting like a sister. She did not bring out the motherly love on the screen.

^abhishek? aishwarya? srk? salman? john abraham? arjun rampal? 😆 i guess actors more than acting need to find a way into people's hearts....critics and audience alike then everything is overlooked. bad acting becomes he/she is so cute or so gorgeous or so charming such a cute smile such a hot bod....they are so nice to look at .... I will pay to watch her/him....who cares about acting!!😆

I don't think industry kids have anything to do with this. Last time I checked, industry kids get a lot of bashing too! Wasn't Abhi recently bashed for his performance in Raavan that his paa had to defend him! And yes since I know this might have meant for bebo (since she always comes up when PC is mentioned), she was bashed for her flops too! That's why she went and took roles like CHameli and JWM to shut those critics up! And now it's PC's turn to prove herself because the critics are doubting her acting power.

And not to mention a recent article came out saying who should retire. And there were more than 2 star kids in the article saying they give flops after flops and their acting is anything special so they should just retire...I think in the article the names of Fardeen kahn, esha deol, and Abhi was mentioned! 😊

She is one of the best of bollywood actresses around today, along with Kareena, Rani, Kajol, Vidya.
Is she over-rated> No.

Katrina, PC heck all of them are overrated

Just a side note - I don't think its necessary to bring other actresses (kareena/katrina or whomever) to make PC seem like the better actress.

I don't think this article came out because 7koon maaf was a flop. They are calling her an overrated actress because she failed to impress some critics in the film! Not to mention her acting was scary in AA and PI. I thought PC was a good actress after I saw fashion (which is an overrated performance of hers by the way) but when I saw Kaminey...I was like dam that girl can act! I guess she really needs Vishal to get the best out of her. Kaminey was the only film that impressed me in terms of her performance! Koolchick yes PC was good in Kaminey..IMO...she was even better in this film than Fashion. So back to AA and PI, when I watched those films...I began to think maybe PC isn't that great of an actress. The girl can only excel in negative role like Aitraaz. And the other film I liked her in was only Kaminey. Her other performance seem artificial for example like in Fashion. She is not versatile enough...she is only good in emotional scenes but not comedy scenes ect...and her performance in a romantic comedy films come out as a wannabee/artificial...eg Anjaana Anjaani or PI.

So she is been in the industry 7 years and her best performance are Kaminey and Aitraaz for me and to some extent Fashion (just some scenes she impressed me in this film other than that blah). That's not enough. Even some of the actress that came after her in bollywood have more critically acclaimed performances than her eg Vidya!
