I am excited for this movie...especially the 7th husband concept...😃

I really want the film to do well and live upto the expectations...I am getting scared now 😆😆

He got Omkara from Hamlet, he bought Kaminey from some Kenyan writer for $4000 😆 and Ishqiya he co-wrote with other people 😛

maqbool was also from something Shakespearean and omkara might be Othello?

Vishal Bardwatch (for his obsession with Shakespeare) is a multifaceted guy. Blue Umbrella and Maqbool are my favorites. I'm sure 7 khoon maaf will get critical acclaim. I don't know if Priyanka is capable of pulling off the film. If she can then 2011 is her year.

Omkara was Othello and also inspired from Malayalam film Kaliyattam. 7 Khoon Maaf is based on Ruskin Bond's Susanna's Seven Husbands and also there's a Malayalam film Susanna on the same subject.

Maqbool was Macbeth. Vishal was to do Hamlet with Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik but I think they chose Bhansali (for Guzaarish) over him so he turned to 7 khoon maaf.
