Style Mantra: Chitrangada Singh
Chitrangada Singh is smouldering, gorgeous, enigmatic, and stunning. There is a mysterious air about her. She will be seen in this week's release, Yeh Saali Zindagi. We take a look at her style mantra.
Regarding her sense of style, she says, "My sense of style is simple and understated, something that suits me. The clothes I wear have to suit my body type because I am not a six-feet-tall model that you throw anything on and it looks fantastic. I have to be comfortable in my skin and clothes. I am not brand conscious and do not follow trends blindly. I love wearing black because it suits my skin tone. I keep my make-up subtle."
Gorgeous in Green: We like the way she has kept her hair and gown simple. The green colour is a good choice and it suits her. The lack of jewellery is a good touch too. The single embellishment on the gown is the only jazzy piece on her.
Peachy: Draped gowns are a tricky choice and she does not pull this off. We like the clutch and the sandals but the gown is ho-hum and her make-up makes her skin look oily. The look lakcs refinement.
Blue Belle: Chitrangada strikes the right notes in this navy blue French Connection dress. The peep-toes are classy and the dress hugs her shapely figure. She looks stunning and hot!
Showstopper: She looks every inch the stunning showstopper but what on Earth is she wearing? A tutu with a see-through churidaar? Those shows must be binned right away! This designer has managed to make her look bad.
Red Alert: This is not a very flattering picture and she is not wearing a very flattering dress. While we like the colour, it could have been more fitted and less Christmas-ey! The shoes are pretty too but they are too strong for the dress.
Dusky Beauty: Chitrangda is striking but she is not perfect. You can see the bags under her eyes and the pores on her cheeks. She is beautiful in spite of all that. She is not skinny; she has a fuller, more real Indian figure which is why she connects. The peach gown looks great on her.
