Priyanka stays out, Deepika moves in...
Guess who didn't make it to Hrithik Roshan's birthday party on Monday night? Priyanka Chopra, his heroine of two films this year — Agneepath and the sequel of Krrish. As always, there are wheels within wheels as to why she didn't go.
One take has it that PC had just returned to Mumbai from South Africa where she had performed with 'boyfriend' Shahid Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan, and it was late. But then, while she chose to go home with Shahid, SRK went to Duggu's party straight from the airport.
The second story is that Shahid was not invited to the party, he not being part of Hrithik's friend circle at all, so Priyanka excused herself and preferred to, well, spend the night with Shahid before he returned to Chandigarh next morning.
However, Priyanka's absence was filled in by Deepika Padukone's first appearance at Hrithik's place. The two stars have known each other right from when she was dating Nihar Padhya, but they didn't really connect. However, after Duggu saw her performance in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, he has been openly praising Deepika. And, the actress gracefully returned the compliments by going over to wish Hrithik on his birthday. Will a movie happen soon between them?
