What's your role in 'Dosti'?
I play Kajal who is good natured and quite chirpy. She has a friend named Karan, who is mad after girls. She wants to teach him a lesson but meanwhile develops love for him.
What's your experience of working with Bobby Deol again in it?
In fact, I have already worked with Bobby, Akshay Kumar and Sunil Darshan before. So, I came across no problem. I have acted with Akshay in 'Andaaz' and with Bobby in' 'Bardasht'. Both of them are sweet natured and working with them is a pleasure.
What about with Sunil Darshan?
Sunil Darshan launched me in 'Andaaz'. He knows his job very well. The viewers keep waiting to watch his movies.
And how about Kareena?
I am working with Kareena for the first time. But, we have become friends now. We used to live together on the sets.
What's special about it?
This is a must watch movie for those who believe in friendship.
What are your forthcoming movies?
Besides 'Dosti' I have acted in 'Zinda' with Sanjay Dutt. I won't speak about other movies though.

What's the movie about?
The movie centers around friendship.
What's your role in it?
While I play Akshay's girlfriend, Bobby acts as a bridge in cementing my friendship with Akshay.
What prompted you to act in it?
I have acted in this movie for the sake of director Sunil Darshan. He is our family friend. I have seen him directing my sister Karisma's movies too.
Anything special?
I had promised to Sunil Darshan that I would complete the shooting within 20 days.

Which is your next movie?
I am doing a film titled 'Aapne' in which I am playing with my father and my brother. For the first time we all three are doing a movie together.
Why did you choose Chandigarh for the shooting of 'Aapne'?
Chandigarh is like my home. I know Chandigarh very well. My wife and my kids are staying there, so there will be fun for me.
How did you feel in Delhi?
I always like Delhi. One of my sisters is staying in Delhi. So, Delhi is always very special for me.
If not an actor, then what?
Maybe a reporter and ask questions like you.
What's your New Year resolution?
I never made resolutions. I believe in work only.
Don't you want to be typecast?
No, I don't want to be typecast. I want to play all sorts of roles.
Isn't comedy the latest trend? Your views?
Yes, it is right. I also like comedy movies. The main reason behind the success of a comedy is that all members of the family can watch the movie together.

Why did you take Akshay and Bobby in the star cast?
Akshay was in my mind from the very first day and the same is true about Bobby. I have worked with both of them and find them perfect for these roles.
What inspired you to adopt this theme?
In today's age everybody is making a movie by showing the skin. However, I make a movie which can be watched by the people of all ages.
Why are the directors not making emotional movies?
Because the audiences don't want to see the movie which has lot of emotions. Today's audiences want to pass three hours in watching dance, masti and naughtiness.

It was a fun. I enjoyed very much because the atmosphere on the sets was very friendly.
You and Bobby are dost (friendly) in the real life. How is this movie similar to your real life?
Friendship doesn't mean that your have similar likes and dislikes. Dosti means that the other person who is your friend would care for your feeling.
How did you find working with Suneel Darshan?
Working with Suneel Dharshan is great although this is my 7th movie with Suneelji.
Are you planning to change you image from an action to a comedy hero?
No, it is not like that. It is a coincidence that my two movies which are comedies have been released back to back. I want to play all types of roles.
