@ 2010: B-Town's top 10 jodis of the year
Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma
Check out some of the on-screen couples whose sizzling chemistry sent the mercury soaring. We hope to see more of them together...While model-turned-actor Anushka Sharma has worked with established actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor, her appearance with first-time actor Ranveer Singh in 'Band Baaja Baaraat' is currently the talk of the town. We loved them for their great comic timing together and comfort factor that exuded on the screen.

Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra
Though 'Anjaana Anjaani' did not go on to become a huge hit, Priyanka and Ranbir's chemistry in the film was much appreciated. Both in moments of joy and sorrow in the storyline, the two actors complemented each other perfectly.

Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori
There was so much of hype around the coming together of Hrithik and Mexican actress Barbara Mori in 'Kites' that the rumour mills went on to say the two actors were having an affair in real life. Eventually, this big budget film tanked and the rumours gradually died down, but what stayed on was the amazing compatibility that the two showed on screen and their scintillating dance steps together.

Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha
For first-time actor Sonakshi, it was a huge achievement being signed on opposite Salman in 'Dabangg'. To make sure she looked just right for her role, Sonakshi went on a major weight-loss programme. They looked quite the adorable couple together in the film, Salman the dashing policeman and Sonakshi the demure village belle.

Ajay Devgn and Kangna Ranaut
In 'Once upon a time in Mumbaai', Ajay Devgn played the role of a don and Kangna a leading actor from tinseltown who he falls in love with. Both the actors fitted into their opulent characters perfectly and they complemented each other to the T.

Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Vikram, the southern superstar made his debut in Bollywood in Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan'. Though Aishwarya's real-life hubby Abhishek also played a prominent role in the film, everyone appreciated Vikram and Ash's sizzling chemistry as on-screen husband and wife.

Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone
While Deepika Padukone's earlier films mostly were romantic comedies, with 'Karthik calling Karthik', she experimented with a serious role. Both Farhan and she looked great on-screen together, as a couple who graduate from being in a perfect relationship to facing a highly stressful situation. The couple managed to look so-classy together

Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor
In a film that portrays the high-society of Delhi, both Sonam and Abhay exuded the allure of the creme-de-la-creme with elan. While Sonam played this very bubbly, rich girl in the film, Abhay also played a rich but down-to-earth young man who in his most charming ways tries to make her look beyond the frivolities of life.

Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone
Deepika started her career acting opposite established actors like Shah Rukh Khan ('Om Shanti Om'), Saif Ali Khan ('Love Aaj Kal') and Akshay Kumar ('Chandni Chowk to China'), Deepika has also opened up to acting alongside actors who belong to her own age group. In 'Break ke Baad', the comfort quotient shared by Imran and she was very evident. Though the film did not light firecrackers at the box office, the actors' on-screen chemistry is something we look forward to watching again.

Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan
Pairing Arshad opposite Vidya Balan in 'Ishqiya' might have come as a surprise for many but their on-screen lip-lock proved that both the actors shared a great compatibility in the film. However, Arshad admitted uncomfortable kissing on-screen. Both proved themselves as mature actors and their performance together was hugely applauded.
