Nalini, I think on her part babita probably had the best intentions in mind for her daughter. I find it really hard to believe that a mother woudl intentionally not care. I think babz just has her priorities in life REALLY mixed up. And she screwed up her daughter's life in that process.

Yeah.. Desu.. Hope Babitha has learnt from her past mistake and lets Bebo lead her own life...

And waise bhi.. Bebo does not look the kind who will get dominated by her mom...I think she is very strong willed ... which is good.. Karishma was just too docile...

true... but even if it was just a compromise on her part, she made no effort to make it work... every circumstance is different, but marriage is not a joke.... a lot of people have a past, and they get married to someone else... and in many cases, their marriage works... people move on...!

however, if her husband never got the love that everyone deserves from a wife, i can't exactly blame only his womanizing ways... the wife is also giving him a reason to cheat...!

so really, i can't feel sorry for her too much... but yes, i agree with Nalini... karishma was too much of a good daughter, but i feel somwhere she failed to be a good wife...

marriage does not work like that... you need trust in a relationship...

but she always seemed happy with her husband, in the pics i have seen... who knows if that was a front only... but honestly, i feel she should have given more time to her husband... in this case, i think the blame lies with both of them...!!

I think pragya was the one who said that it seems liek bebo's already seem to have distanced her mother a little bit. Why else move into another apartment complex in the same city, but get her mother a separate apartment nearby rather than living with her had she previously done.

if it is true, than that is good for bebo...

no mother intentionally ruins the life of her children... but in their own ignorance, they fail to see and realize the reprecussions of their own actions... i think it's very important that mothers, especially should be educated, so they can make an educated decision about their children... instead of forcing their opinions on the kids...!! but i don't think babita ever gave karishma that chance... her fate was decided when she was a kid... it's pretty sad... however, i would have thought that when she grew up and had her own experiences in life, she would have learned a thing or two...

oh well... what's happened, has happened... with time, i'm sure she'll move on....!

In one of Karisma's last interviews she said something like she and her husband were a jetset couple, so right there you know that stability and security was not priority for their marriage - I hope though that this was not a case for the children, because children of a jetset couple very rarely turn out stable and secure.

Yes.. when a relationship breaks just cant blame one person for it atleast most of the times..... Yes one may be at more fault than other... but it defintely takes two to make or break any relationship...

And regarding Babitha.. being a single mom and the struggles she went thru.. have played a major role

in the way theylook at family dynamics and relationships......

Babita and her daughters are quite big on talking about her struggles - I find it hard to believe that those girls were ignored by their father and his family - what with all the pictures we keep seeing with Neetu, Rishi, their kids, Karisma, Kareena and even the Bachchans - so many of them on holiday. And so many pictures with their grandfather as well.

Yet Babita only talks of her struggles bringing up her children. You never hear of Dimple going on and on about bringing up her children - in fact she never fails to compliment Rajesh Khanna on being a good father, even when he was not much of a husband.

i dunno... i would actually blame babita... she was an extremely overbearing mother, from what i see... she decided already what her daughters were going to do... did not matter to her, what struggles a newcomer might have to go through... and if all the escort reports are true (which i think are), then who pushed her into all that...? her own mother... i think every new struggler who has no connections has to go through such things (happened with srk)... but at least, the decision should be their own... i've heard similar stories about sridevi's mom and reena roy's mom... both of them pushed their daughters into the film industry and they never had too much of a choice... happened with divya bharti as well, i think... i think it's sad...!

sometimes, people we love can turn out to be our worst enemy....!!
