I'd love to do a Bollywood movie, says Daniel Radcliffe

Hollywood actor (Harry Potter movies) Daniel Radcliffe says that he is a huge fan of actor Shah Rukh Khan and doesn't rule out a stint in Bollywood either.
Have you seen any Indian films? What is your opinion about films made in India?
I have seen a few of them but the names are definitely difficult to remember! The best thing about movies made in India is the fact that they have songs! It makes the movies so much more engrossing!
Is there an Indian actor that you are particularly fond of?
Shah Rukh Khan is really famous in Britain and I'm really fond of him. He is definitely an epitome of style and class!
Has it ever crossed your mind that somebody might replace you as Harry Potter?
Frankly I have never really thought of this!
Some websites claim that the last Harry Potter series is the darkest compared to all other films. Do you feel the same way?
You know when I read the seventh series of the book, I remember finishing it while on a plane and just becoming very emotional. I found it to be a very moving book. The epilogue was something that I liked.
It tied together all those loose ends. Because the thing is, what people don't realise about the epilogue is I think that if J K Rowling hadn't written that it can you imagine being her for the rest of her life and having to cope with questions about what did Harry go on to do? She has to give something to just shut people up aside from everything else — you know — to give some conclusion.
Are you feeling nostalgic that the series is finally coming to an end? Don't you feel that no matter whatever you do, you will always remain a Harry Potter for all your Indian fans who have grown up watching you?
I definitely am nostalgic. As I said, it's been a decade now. I have lived more like Harry than Daniel! I am well aware that I would be recognised as Harry for fans in India as well as overseas and all I can say that it has been a brilliant association for the last 10 years and I would love being known as Harry!
If there's a cause that you could take up to work for India, what would it be?
If I get a chance, I would love to extend my support towards the education of under-privileged children so that it can help them mend a better future for themselves!
Talking about Indian films, do you think that given the song and dance routine, Indian films are a little removed from reality?
Not really, I guess that's what the most promising bit is! It's a trademark!
Would you, if approached, act in a Bollywood movie?
Absolutely, there is dance and drama involved and I'd love to be a part of something so unusual. But only if I could do justice to the role I am offered! (laughs)
