At Hyder Ali's mahurat shot...

Hyder Ali, Aamir Khan's stepbrother and the newest entrant into Bollywood, was excited about the mahurat shoot for his film, Deepa Ki Tarannum. The shoot started at 10.30 am yesterday, at Filmstan Studio, Goregaon.

"It was very nice and went well. I did two scenes with Pretti Jaiin. One had me waiting outside Central jail for Tarannum. This scene was very intense; I had to convey my concern for Tarannum. The other was shot inside the jail, which had strong dialogues," said Hyder.

The actor said he is charged up for his film, and has done all the preparations necessary to play the role.

"There are certain expectations from everyone who is part of this film. I will put in my best," he said. "I have been reading the role very well; it's a challenging character."

Papa Tahir Hussain was also with him at the mahurat.

"Dad told me I am a good actor and all I have to do is put all he has taught me into action. These were the golden words of inspiration from him, before I went for the shoot this morning," said Hyder.

"I am happy with Hyder's acting; he was impressive. There were many producers present at the shoot, who told me they were going to sign him for their films," said Tahir Hussain.

What were his expectations from his son? "Well, I know he is good and has a good personality; delivers his dialogues well and doesn't have to repeat a single shot.

He has made me happy," ended Hussain. Shooting for the film will start from the first week of January.
