The first season was huge success, and the programme became the first English entertainment show to ever get a huge rating in India. The episode in which Abhishek Bachchan and Preity Zinta appeared together was the highest viewed episode in season one.

The second season began on February 11, 2007.

i know it was boring abhishek is a fun person whereas Ash wasnt her laugh was kinda annoying lol he was funny in Season 1 with Preity

BORING episode! There was no fun at all. That was a Rapid fire round??? Such stupid easy questions.

Ash looked gorgeous as usual but her personality seems off.It's better if she doesn't talk.Only saving grace was Abhi but he too has lost his charm that he used to have before.

Looking forward to the other episodes.

PS- I wish Aamir, Salman , Akki etc come on the show. Bored of the same guests being repeated.

Sorry I thought I heard Rani's name for some reason....Salman (Aamir - SRK) was (were) also mentioned to Aish and she said the Bachchans are always the flavour of the seasons (sth like that) and my name is not Khan.... Obviously Aish doesn't get along with actresses in BW for some reason...

Poor dear he couldn't imagine in his wildest dreams that Aish would have accepted him....well I guess she wanted to get married SPECIFICALLY to a desi guy from a wealthy family and a very well known one...she got what she wanted - Abhi is a nice guy -- which isn't bad either 😛 Abhi wanted a very successful woman to match his lineage..good for them..Hope I'll get married to someone for who he is and not for what he represents (in terms of looks / money / social status)....

I don't blame them..but it's not what I aim for in my marital life...😊

But saying ovr & ovr she's pretty when everyone knows she's a beauty queen is like a disease..can't he get over she's pretty/.///because it sound slike this is the only reason he can remain faithful to her and the only reason he got married to her...erm no...AISH = BIG MONEY too ..well there's a limit he can't say over & over she has money - it's better to say she's pretty////

even all that is fine with me, surely it must be hard to live in the limelight for so long. but does she really have to put other women down to make herself look better? from criticizing those who chose to build a career before marriage to claiming she doesn't get along with most girls coz she can't talk about make-up and handbags. well, if you have amitabh bachchan as a father-in-law you don't really need to get along with anybody else i guess.

i honestly believe shez more excited about being *amitabh bachchan's daughter-in-law* than abhishek's wife. well done ash, you played your cards well throughout your career and landed the role of a lifetime: the bachchan bahu. though i still cant help thinking that if you were truly so happy you wouldnt need to publicly reinforce it all the time.

That's a little harsh, don't you think? I am no fan of Ash and she annoys the crap out of me but I don't think she's AS terrible as you're making her out to be. I think Ash likes to project a certain image of herself, be it that of a simple, middle-class girl or that of her being "one of the guys". She never likes any of her flaws to be known by the public/media, and that is why she always tries to give the impression that she has the perfect life and that she gets along with everyone. And, yes, that's incredibly fake and it's this quality of her that makes her seem icy and cold.

But I really don't think she's trying to suck up to Abhishek, her HUSBAND, in any way. Yes, she has imbibed a lot of aspects from his life (his mannerisms, his friends etc.) but then, that's marriage. Married couples DO pick up qualities from each other and they do share a life and everyone who's involved in it. I really don't think any of her attempts to like Abhi's favorite sports teams etc. has to do with her sucking up to him. She's married to him so of course she's going to support who he supports (unless she has her own favorites, which I don't believe she does). That's completely natural in ANY relationship.

Like I said, I think the only thing Aish is guilty for is her consistent attempt to project a picture-perfect of her life, her family, her character, her friends etc. No one's life is that perfect and clearly, she doesn't want other people commenting on her flaws. It's just annoying to see someone act that way over a long period of time and she really should realize that people can see right through her act but still, I don't think that is a valid reason to judge her character (which none of us know anything about) and her marriage with Abhishek and label it all as one big manipulative act.

These 2 bore me to death and i dont like this sudden change in Abhis personality.. I used to think he was the only one sane in the family and his last appearances on KWK were great. He just really came off as really bitter in this one hmm i wonder why?

arey waah, really so it was highest rated, no wonder coz its one of the best episodes of koffee with karan so far, love pz and abhisekh in that episode
