It all started when he met top cop Rakesh Maria at a recent book launch event. The star had a chat with the cop, who provided him with some interesting facts on informers and how they are vital to the police force.
Says a source who was present at the event, "Ajay was fascinated by what Rakesh Maria told him. He had never realised how crucial their tip-offs are. Their world is laced with fear, yet they do they do the job, risking their lives. Ajay has now begun thinking about a project on the subjects on spies and espionage. He has played a cop in several films. Now, he wants to be on the other side, on the field, gathering the information for the authorities."
When we contacted Ajay to know whether this was true or not, he said, "I found the stories about spies and informers intriguing. I did not know how crucial they are for cops. I am now looking forward to essay one such character in the near future."
