About the movie 3 idiots????

Don't get me wrong guys its a good movie and everything, but going back to this fued between SRK and Aamir Khan. To me 3 Idiots is a copy of mohabbatein, which starred SRK himself. If you look at the comparisons.....

1) Both movies are set in schools/hostels

2) Both have strict headmasters, who don't have time for love or anything.....Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani

3) Both movies centre around the battle between the main actor and the head masters to change their views on things in life..... Amitabh Bachchan VS SRK and Aamir Khan Vs Boman Irani

4) Both movies the head master has lost a loved one, because of their stubborness/strictness....Amitabh lost his daughter Aishwariya and Boman lost his son...both commited suicided.

5) Both movies have stories involving other characters and their problems....Mohabbatein....Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill and Jugal Hansraj, both had problems and SRK helped them out......3 Idiots you had Madhavan and Sharman Joshi, who had problems and Aamir was there to help them.

6) At end both headmasters realised their mistakes and change themselves and request the lead actor to stay at the hostel/school.

What do you guys think?......

Mohabattein was about letting students spread love and music. Its basically a fantasy story of a certain school where students were deprived of joys and love.

3 Idiots is about education.. Its not some fantasy, but based on the education system in India.The statistics, facts, etc, are very much real (ex, aamir talking about hte suicide rates).

While Mohabattein talked about the importance of love, 3 Idiots stressed hte importance of learning for the sake of learning, and not for the sake of competition of marks.

HUGE difference.

That way, all love stories can be called copies of each other. Girl, guy fall in love, there are obstacles, they overcome the obstacles, get together.

Guy is totally different from girl, yada yada.

And Mohabattein was a completely different genre from 3 Idiots. Its was intense drama. 3 Idiots was a comedy.

Besides 3 Idiots was based on the novel 5 Point Someone.

Mohabbatien was also about following your dreams as well....what about the other facts i've stated????
