I have KMG at home. Its an awesome film especially for young kids. They loved. Same goes for Krissh.

But IMO I loved both KMG and Krissh but there were some negative factors in Krissh. I wish they have taken Preity Zinta in Krissh too because Priyanka ruined Krissh for me with her overacting and going OTT. HR was awesome in both films though especially in KMG his acting as a a guy who is a child in a man's body was mindblowing. PZ was awesome in KMG too. I loved the songs all and all very entertaining film I thought it was better than HR's Dhoom series.

PS I know they couldn't have taken PZ because in Krissh she plays his mother. But a less annoying actress/better actress than PC would have been better. Maybe Rani

These two flicks just proved how overrated of an actor Hrithik really is. He hammed throughout the entire time and they praised him for it. KMG was to Hrithik as Black was to Rani. Most overrated performances in bollywood's history. I have not seen Hrithik perform in any other film besides Fiza. He just makes 10000 expressions, dances well and looks good on screen. I'll just echo everyone else's thoughts on this. KMG was watchable, Krissh was horrifying to say the least.

well as i said before i loved KMG..n i just watched it today also with my little cousin bro..i was 14 when i first saw it n i really loved the movie..ts been 7years n still my opinion hasn't changed..i agree with wt some people said that it not being an epic...but the thing is im not a person who is much in to these epic kind of serious cinema(e.i- i hated Black..or rather fell asleep while watching the thing on tv 1 day)..i love films that r light(not comedies..i hate them) n r social type movies catering to families..n this sure fits the bill..
IMO Hrithik was phenomenal in his portrayal as Rohit in KGM..it is not every one's cup of coffee to pull off a mentally challenged character..he did it in a way which made us neither laugh at/ridicule nor feel pity for rohit..i feel appreciative of him every time i see it..some scenes r not logical..but still thats natural for almost all movies..
i have seen 100s f Alien related H'wood movies..but this movie had a human touch...it was a sweet uncomplicated story..Compared to Hrithik preity didn't have much to do in the movie..but she was integral for the character to come alive as the sweet n kiddish Nisha who adapted to rohit without a hitch..n she did it without being over bearing or annoying, joining in to the childish world of Rohit..so overall i don't have much criticism at this movie..

Now Krish..felt surprised that the Hrithik who did such amazing acting in KMG hammered thru the entire movie..thr wasn't a proper story..just some idiotic action sequences..lol i might be biased cz i dnt like action flicks in general..so all i remember of this film is jumping around, fighting, loud annoying dialogs,forced on funny scenes that didn't make me laugh..in plain language they just made fools of themselves n the movie..
priyanka has done way better in so many other films..it is one sequel that wasn't needed cz as far as im concerned the innocent,magic they captured in KMG was not smthing they could recreate..
i really dnt want to have a sequel to Krish!one was more than enough!

The only reason I enjoyed these movies was b/c my bachcha party loved them. They would squeal everytime Jadoo came or everytime Krish would fly. Other than that, nothing great about them.

again it proved for u---hrithik did get best actor awards for both the films, and i dun think neone cud've played the old person the way he did! and if it wasn't for him doing the stunts such film cud never have been made in bollywood!

I beg to differ. Akshay (Kumar) who has been doing his own stunts since forever could have easily pulled off D2. It wasn't a role meant only for Hrithik.

first of all we r not discussing D2, and second of all akshay does not have the body, the acting skills, the looks of hrithik and neither i have seen him perform stunts in which he had to jump of 14 feet buildings, nor i have seen him perform the martial arts the way hrithik did! and nor i can see him playing rohit the way he did! nasrudin shah praised hrithik after the film was over however he has always been very critical of shahrukh and aamir

LMAO you're right I thought we were on the dhoom topic. My bad.
But KMG and Krish were not something only HR could do. I can easily see Akshay doing all the stunts. As for KMG mentally challenged act, Anil Kapoor did it a long time ago in Ishwar and really well, much better than HR's act in KMG.
