Which begs the question what is it with overhyped big starrer movies not doing as well as they are expected to: Kites, MNIK (did not hit the jackpot as strongly as it was predicted to). Is the Indian audience finally getting over star power and looking for more substance?

What does one attribute its super-success to? Plenty of reasons. The massive star cast attracted viewers in hordes, the superb promotion proved sone pe suhaaga, but most importantly, for a film to sustain after its opening weekend, it ought to have solid content and RAAJNEETI is, without doubt, a superior product. Besides, I think the Ranbir-Katrina pairing played a big role in luring a big chunk of the junta. Especially Ranbir, who, I strongly feel, is the Pied Piper of the box-office.

Let's hope the box-office keeps smiling, an air of optimism continues to prevail in the industry and viewers continue to throng cineplexes in multitudes in weeks to come. Only then will the industry limp back to normalcy!

ok since when? Ranbir have gived 2 hits before this movie and that is APKGK and I think BAH was a hit but not sure... but rest was not hits and also WUS wasnt a hit so i dont think its fair to call him the pied piper of the box office it gives more since if Katrina was called this,

I love Ranbir he is my favorite from the young generation no doubt he is the most versatile, talented, succesful etc.. from the young generation no one is as good as him from the young generation
and he have gived 2 big hits which is apart of the top 10 biggest blockbusters BUT i think its to erly to

And as Ranbir says he doesn't take all dese things seriously and I don't think it s right to call anyone d box office king or queen though kat is probably d only one who can be called so but as Ranbir says dat no one can really predict bo success like wen akahay gave 5 hits in a row everybody calked him a superstar bigger dan khans but with one flop like.
