A civil suit has been filed against co-owners Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia and vice-president of Kings XI Punjab, Arvinder Singh in relation to an advertisement, which carried the names of freedom fighters Chandarshekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. The complainants alleged that they used their names for publicity, which is a violation of The Emblem and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950. The act prohibits improper use of names or ideals that inspired the freedom struggle.
