Ummm, dude, there is a difference between overrated and giving a good performance. The poll was is she overrated, I said yes, since how many memorable performances has she given apart from the ones mentioned.

That said i saw bits and pieces of Fashion adn found her to be good, DESPITE the glamour. Kangana was sitll better form what I saw, but that's a differnet matter entirely.

THe fact is, I never said antyhign abotu anushka in reference to her wardrobe, but STILL stand by the fact htat i"m disappointed in her based on this one promo. I'm not comparing her to PRiyanka or Kareena, but giving you mere examples of my stance being VERY consistent with both these girls.
Consistent in the sense that I imposed judgment on both kareena and PC as well based on promos. ANd brought kareena and PC in coz one is supposedly my fave and gave an example of criticiing kareena (like i'm criticizing anushka), and an example of an actress I think is overrated (PC), but also admitting that i thoguht she had given a great performance based on ONE, yes ONE promo of Fashion. The first one.
Do you see the connection?
And I already cleared up in the past THREE posts that i have said nothign about anushka's acting based on her bikini. Please go back and check.

WHat is so wrong about it? B n B, Dhoom, Dhoom 2, now Badmaash company. What was common in all the series, the conning, the glamor, the clothes, the bikinis. And bikinis are becomign synonymous wiht Yash Raj nowaydas. None of hteir heroines go by without wearing a bikini.

See you're doing it again...so wearing bikins in YRF movies is bad / associated with bad performances but you don't have the same bias against bikinis in non-YRF movies? I don't get what bikinis have to do with a storyline, script, acting..but whatever! Sounds like you are biased against YRF in general. Sure they've been making crappy movies lately but once in a while they come up with okay films like New York. So I''ll just reserve my judgement on this film.

LOL!!! I swear i never thought as well. Promo doesn't even concentrate on her 😆 I never seen them in Other Anu related posts.

Can I ask you something? Why crying foul? Last week when I commented on a KK interview, you wrote really long posts justifying her. I don't remember getting impatient. And you called it a healthy discussion. Can't this be the same? Just saying. Not trying to stir anything up...I just don't get the "can't say anythign in shahid related threads" statements by various posters when similar things happened to me in the KK thread.

Point is, a healthy debate isn't so bad. Or so I thought.

Why do people get so worked up?

Some of us just say that wearing a bikini is not surprising in a movie where people are seen near a beach --- let's say there's nothing to be shocked about ---

Sharmila Tagore did wear one and she was the first indian actress to make it popular...

YRF have never hired Bebo if I'm not mistaken...

Anu is just a newbie --- let the movie release - then everyone will be able to rightly bash her bikini and her acting skills -- it's not because she was all covered up in rab ne that she has to in every movie////

No one bashes Bebo to wear bikinis or any other actress for that matter - wearing a bikini has nothing to do with the acting skills --- it's just more appealing that's all......

Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry did plenty of love scenes and showed skin a lot of times - that doesn't make them bad actresses -

I don't see why you get shocked....or disappointed........

We know bebo is the best and Saif is the best///😊

Were our debates centered around Kareena's quotes or the the member? If i remember correctly, our debate was specifically centered on KAREENA and other celebs.

Go back and read this so called debate. See where the focus shifts.
