Sonam, please think before you speak. If it is perfectly alright for gossip magazine to speculate about allegedly "straight" stars, then why are the people who speculate about him being gay so wrong? I agree, for most people I would say that let their work speak for themselves, but then didn't Karan have the show called Kofee With Karan, where it was all about celeb gossips as well? Also, how does people speculating he is gay or not, have to do with jealousy? What exactly do we have to be jealous about?

^ If my gaydar is correct, then Karan Johar is definitely gay. Don't ask for reasons - it is always an instinct. The way he talks, walks, speaks, dresses, and behaves, everything points me out to it. I don't understand, though, being a gay, why would he make fun of these issues in films like KHNH and Dostana (and possibly Dostana 2 as well, if that is being made)? I don't understand. He is a decent filmmaker, so can't he use his film making power to create positive awareness regarding this subject, than making it seem as though homosexuality is nothing but a joke? Most people in India and the rest of the Asia, after Dostana, will think that "gayism" is nothing but a joke, and if this is the message he is forwarding, I have nothing more to say.

I don't understand why he bothers so much about people asking him if he's gay..he's himself the gossip colum in BW and HE is the one to make gay jokes all the time in his movies and with SRK....

I agree it must embarrassing but just deal with it...isn't he the one to say - why do people in BW hide their love life..then practise what you preach...

It's ok for him to talk about anyone's rumours but about him - then it's taboo - that's hypocritical and coward....

Anyway my gaydar tells me he's gay also...it's kinda written all over his mannerisms and all his love confessions for Manish and SRK///

I like him as a director -- but stereotyping gay people isn't a way to make evolve Indian society's mentality......If you can't deal smartly with the subject --- just keep the storyline straight and decent..!

As for Sonam --- she only backed Kjo - that's all....he got her involved in one of his home production so she pays back lol --- I mean she only showed support because perhaps herself she received hate tweets.... Yeah till now Sonam is a "flop star"...but she gets interesting endorsements and publicity...India is a kind country with flop stars...

But she will be huge....mmm people say so - let's see.....

It's in Kapoor's genes....lol

Well maybe the tweets he got were more than just "are you gay?". Maybe they were bashing him about being gay, like how SRK gets bashed for "not following" his religion.

Depends on what degree of insulting tweets he got.
