^^ It is a double edged sword.. some of the actresses also try to capitalize and confuse people about their relationship status just to stay in news when they have a clear option to clarify stuff. So its not just the people talking acteresses themselves use these gossips to propell their career.

All celebs from the biggest stars to the smallest starlets try to stay in the news some way or the other. But it still doesn't mean we should judge a woman's action harsher than the same thing coming from a man.

I personally don't think this is a publicity stunt - because its not like they even have a movie coming out together. On top of that Shahid doesn't even have a movie coming out for a while. So what would they gain from it. Wouldn't it have made more sense to link him with Genelia when CPD was coming out?

And honestly this is such an old thing with Shahid that no one would believe it. Aaj Tak and Zoom got their days worth of videos from it. Tomorrow they'll have a new story.

coming to the actress's part ,no doubt there r many actresses who do tht too,but again,they r all girls before actresses,so sumwhr dwn d line,they must have a sense of responsibity,and a definite line to not cross.🤔

^And if that was indeed the case why didn't Deepika do the same thing before the release of CC2C or the release of LAK. KCK is her next film after giving one of the biggest hits of the previous year. And she is doing pretty well for herself considering how new she is - so I really don't think she needs publicity through this route.

I am not accusing anyone in particular, but a lot of times stories are also planted by other parties against certain stars when they have problems.So it isn't necessary that all fake news is planted to gain publicity - sometimes its also planted to bring others down. I am just offering a different perspective - not saying that is what necessarily happened here.

The whole thing is just too far-fetched. Shahid and Deepika were at one party at the same time - I am sure there were loads of other people there too but they didn't get linked to them.

And like Aneesha said - Sid Malhotra, who is a bollywood insider and a friend to a lot of the people involved already rubbished the story.

Wht can't they denied the rumuors themselves on twitter 😕.

Well atleast these fake affairs give them publicity.. What else will people talk about regarding Shahid kapoor if it wasnt for his fake affairs? Fake affairs Shahid ki identity hai.. haha.. Atleast they take the focus off his flops..

These false stories given out by one of the media and then copied blindly by all others like sheeps...this has become their identity...every sane individual now knows to take them with a pinch of salt...

Its sad to see young girls eager to hate on and label another girl just cuz she's linked up by the media with other cute/hot/attractive guys. And its even sad-er to see ppl selectively believing link-up rumours when it doesnt concern their faves, so they assume they have all rights in the World to post derogatory comments.

Dude, its NOT about Deepika or Shahid or Genelia or Anushka or Ranbir...its YOUR dignity you are loosing by posting those insults.
