| Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network Veer dropped on Monday as it recorded business in the 3-3.25 crore nett range. The drop is around 55% from Friday and Sunday collections. The film has now taken its four day collections to just over 22.50 crore nett. Veer has been rejected by the metro multiplex audience as collections started on a low note and have not improved. Multiplexes outside metroes are okay but its single screen business that is really helping the film put up decent totals. The film has a big advantage as it is Republic Day holiday today and a jump in business is expected which will help the film to a total of 31-32 crore nett for the first week. | |

| Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network Veer recorded huge collections on Tuesday which was Republic Day holiday. The film grossed around 6.25 crore nett as per early estimates which takes it five day business to nearly 29 crore nett. The collections on Tuesday are the second highest ever for a Tuesday after Three Idiots but is must be noted that Veer did the business on a major holiday. The film has benefited hugely from Republic Day holiday as the collections are double of what they would have been if it was a normal day. The film is now heading for a 33 crore nett plus total and a distributor share of over 20 crore. Normally films post large drops after a big holiday so if Veer can stay around its Monday range on Wednesday and Thursday that will a good sign for its second weekend. |

| Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network Veer showed a heavy fall on Wednesday as it recorded around 2 crore nett business. The total now is nearly 31 crore nett and the week will finish around 32.75 crore nett mark. The fall was expected after a big Tuesday but steady collections would have meant better a second week. The film will emerge a hit in some circuits but overall hit status may be difficult unless second week can show decent collections. The film has not done well in Mysore, Tamil Nadu and Kerala but these are small circuits so the biggest let down has come in Mumbai and East Punjab. Better business in these circuits would have helped the films a cause a lot. |
