People even believe that Salman is a really bad guy, thanks to the media. 😛
Why should Salman take a chill pill? He was asked a question, he gave an answer in his own way. Besides, no matter what he would have said, it would have ended up with the same heading. 😆

I am sure he just answered the question he was asked. But because he said, does my hair look blonde? and should I say Pitt copied my look from Suryavanshi, the press has branded it "lashing out". The fact is, they are hell bent on pushing the bad boy image. They aren't getting anything from him these days to support that but press isn't ready to let it go. So they try and make it sound like he lost his temper. Don't buy it for a second.

Having said that, the press wants to feed that image because there are Salman haters who love this sort of thing and they'll bite whatever BS they hear whether its legitimate or not. And there are some other people who're so gullible that they'll buy anything. So sadly, there is no end to this but I too have adopted Salman's don't give a shit attitude! So WTFever! 😆

Troy is about Greek Mythology..... (-8th century B.C)
Veer is about Colonial India Era.....(+19th century A.D)
All on screen warriors look the same..or quite a bit.....
****Quo Vadis**** (One of my fave movie ALL TIME)- Cleopatra - Spartacus -The Ten commamdments - Ben Hur - Gladiator - Troy - 300....... do look the same....Because they're all peplos (Period dramas). But the stories are really different.
Veer has nothing to do with Greek mythology....
I can also say that Troy

(I mean the movie - make up - outfits - armors) was inspired by Xena or Hercules (TV series)....That's a relevant comparison because all the three stories are about Greek Mythology...
I'm more intrigued about the warrior's dressing code of that time (Colonial India) which looks really odd for the XIXth century...I mean the warriors's outfits are very surprising for me (I'll do some research about that - I'm really intrigued) and of course we can relate Veer to other movies because it's not the first movie dealing with warriors, colonial era, interracial love, rebellion...)
I can tell that Veer makes me think of Lagaan...But is Veer is about Cricket? - No....
It's about the 19th century and British domination in India and the comparison ends up there...
Maybe they feel that Salman's make up and hair do look the same as B. Pitt's avatar or the armors in Troy....
Troy isn't a good movie for me - so I have a feeling Veer will be something cool...
The scene in which he fights in the arena makes me think of the Roman Colosseum..the trailer is very misleading...
I can compare Veer to Pocahontas who went to see the British Queen& King to speak in favour of her people's cause too (I guess that's what Veer is going to do - correct me if I'm wrong)- does that make Veer a copy of Pocahontas - No...🥱

Salman Khan angered by 'Pitt' comparison
New Delhi, January 20 -- A compliment that compares one to a famous personality is flattering for most people; however that does not seem to be the case with Salman Khan. "

New Delhi, January 20 -- A compliment that compares one to a famous personality is flattering for most people; however that does not seem to be the case with Salman Khan.

It was recently compared that Salman's look in "Veer" seems to be like Pitt's image in Hollywood epic "Troy".

However, the actor lost his cool on hearing that.

Salman gets angry
The actor, who was in Delhi to promote his forthcoming epic film 'Veer', went ballistic over a reporter who commented about the similarities.

Angrered Salman only snapped, "He (Pitt) was wearing a miniskirt in the film. I am not. And does my hair look blonde?"

The actor who is always known to throw a fist continued in the same vein saying that Brad Pitt stole "my look".

"Did that guy in Gladiator, Rusell Crowe have long hair? No he did not. This is rubbish. I play a Pindari soldier and my look is not a copy of any Hollywood film," he added.

High expectations from 'Veer'
"Veer", directed by Anil Sharma, has been in making for three decades. Salman has recently conveyed that it was a "long and hard journey" for him and that he would take every opportunity to promote his film.

In an attempt to make a good impression, the actor recently turned a horse jockey at Mumbai Derby. He was later present at a press conference in Delhi wearing a shirt embellished with the word Veer.

The movie is scheduled to release on Jan. 22nd.

Don't compare me to Brad Pitt: Salman Khan

Being Original

Umpteen times has Salman Khan's armoured look in his upcoming film Veer being compared to that of Hollywood stars Brad Pitt in 'Troy' or Russell Crowe in 'Gladiator' or Mel Gibson in 'Braveheart'. But Salman insists that such comparisons are baseless and that his look in 'Veer' is not inspired by any other actor's.

No surprise that the moody Khan lost his cool when a reporter asked him if his 'Veer' look was modeled on Brad Pitt's in 'Troy'.

"He (Brad Pitt) was wearing a miniskirt in the film. I am not. And does my hair look blonde?" Salman shot back rhetorically. He was promoting 'Veer' in Delhi.

Salman did not stop at that and continued: "I had long blonde hair in 'Sooryavanshi', so I should stand up and say that Brad Pitt stole my look. Did that guy in 'Gladiator', Russell Crowe have long hair? No he did not. This is rubbish. I play a Pindari soldier and my look is not a copy of any Hollywood film."

Salman's outburst is somewhat understandable because 'Veer' is very close to his heart. It's based on a story he's penned himself. The movie is set in the 19th century India and recreates the life of a valiant Pindari warrior who refuses to kowtow to the colonial British or their royal cronies.

So involved is Salman with every aspect of the film that he's had his share of creative differences with director Anil Sharma.

Slated to release this Friday, the movie introduces Zarine Khan and British beauty queen Lisa Lazarus.

Surprising, no news about how Salman lashed at Karan Johar for asking the marriage question for the nth number of time. 😆😆😆
All the media has his answers as a quote. They're only mad because Salman actually told them off. 😛 Besides, why is he expected to be all nicey nice to the media when they thrive on portraying him as some sort of 'bad boy' who is known to 'throw his fist'. 🤔
That's a great attitude to have in life. 😉 You can't please everyone, so best to live life on your own terms. 😛

I'm sorry but Cheater Pitt looks a bit girly next to Salman. 😆 Let's not mention him in the same sentence as Salman. Salman is such a babe! I never understood the craziness surrounding Pitt. Clooney is far more attractive to me than Pitt, gray hair and all. 😆

Clooney is by far my MOST MOST favourite. LMAO, I was going to mention how Brad had a bit of a feminine look, but people would have thought me biased. 😆
