Why does there even need to be talks of sides? Karan is a producer/director therefore it is expected that he works with other people. Are the other films he makes/produces as big? NO. Same with Farrah.

I don't think either of them have ditched SRK. This is probably the media imagination working over-time.

It's understandable if they choose to work with other actors. And it's quite healthy if they do! I would be quite surprised if they continued to have SRK in every film just on the basis of friendship. It would be plain stupid to do such a thing.

Interesting vid : SRK seems a bit irritated and is being rude to the journalists - I guess he's tired with all the "With whom y're having troubled relationships in BW" game..

I remember SRK saying on "The Couch with Koel" that "If Karan works with another Khan [he] I will break his head" because at that time he chose shooting for YRF (RNBDJ) over MNIK..So MNIK got a bit delayed and rumors said that Kajol asked Karan to hire Aamir instead...It seems that Kjo was a bit upset about it.

As for Kat, she has a cordial relationship with SRK, as far as I know. They meet at social gathering regularly and they get along well. If Karan shows up with her in cinema events with her I don't see nothing wrong, Kjo always said that he didn't want to have pb with anyone so he's on good terms and on speaking ones with everybody. He's the one who made SRK&Aamir meet at his house for the producers/distributors conference they held a bit later cause Aamir difdn't want to go to Mannat.

Farah and Karan owe their success to SRK but not necessarily their talent...

They are directors and they are meant to work with actors and SRK isn't the only actor in BW.

If SRK had a good physical condition, maybe things might have been interpreted this way but since he can't do Farah's HNY, Farah is working on another project with her husband for their home production...Nothing wrong with that. SRK has done MNIK, he produced it with Karan.

I know SRK is a very possessive and protective person on a personal level, maybe he's bothered a bit because he is Karan and Farah's fave but I don't think there's a war or nothing of that sort. They're really closed to each other. The thing is that personal and professional bonds are mingled and in general when the first goes wrong the second is hardly maintained. And conversely.

And last thing, working with the same people over and over can limit the creativity so it's a good thing when directors don't stick to same actors because they may happen to do only wonders with them and be totally average with directing other people....

Karan is trying new things good for him and Farah is also.

In the US, Tim Burton and Johnny Deep are almost the same as Karan Johar and SRK, they've done a lot of movies together and people think they're having an ambiguous relationship also. But it happens that they work with other people and get back working together. So it's not sth extraordinary. Evey director has fave actors but that doesn't mean that they're bound to do movies only with them.

During Paa's premiere SRK was asked about Aamir and he avoided the journalist and went away from him and he had a forced smile. I didn't hear well but it seemed that he was asked about Aamir and Karan...

happy new year is very much happening shirish himself told me on twitter. and he also gave an interview which i have posted here. once Tees maar khan release sn srk will also be ready they start shooting for it!

Ouch, SRK seems really irritated in that interview. He hardly ever talks to the media rudely like that. I gues.s he really is sick and tired of the dumb rivalry questions they keep asking him

SRK used to be rude to the media in the beginning of his career but Gauri asked him to be more diplomatic that's why he changed but if you read or see his early intw he's plain rude with attitude...

From 3.30 to 4.52 : SRK's arrival with Family and other kids? He's being interviewed - He's praising Big B and then a journalist comes up with a particular question mentioning Aamir and then SRK goes away and says that the question is quite boring - The thing is whenever SRK has a down phase, the media likes "torturing" him and questioning his stardom and his status in BW so I guess SRK is a bit fed up and doesn't want to give them the pleasure to get into this..because it hurts I guess.

Karan is there too but he comes later after SRK and is all praise for Big B...

Shah seems to be moody since the past two interviews...but I don't think its very huge...I'm glad the damn man finally seems normal...otherwise I haven't seen him even be slightly irritated with any questions posed by the media. I think it's high time they stop asking stupid questions and bothering him.

no offence but srk didn't make karan, karan made him, as karan's dad was a top producer & mr srk wasn't that well know in kkhh days

anyway srk has reached this position by bending backwards to please the top notch chopra's to reach this position, i feel he is a bad actor & given far to much importance than he deserves. he did acting in struggling days, all he does now is wear designer suits & show off in movies,but somehow the boring movies work, but im glad some of his movies didn't do well

as for farah yes srk does have hand in her success, if he didn't go out of his way to promote her half baked saga's then she would have never been a successful director

come on oso & mhn are not movies but a very bad patch work & if srk didn't go out of his way to promote them & provide so much hype around them, no one would have watched the 2 thrash movies

she is only annoyed with him because he refused to work with her husband, but i don't blame him,as her hubby made one movie with salman,akki & preity & the movie was the worse movie i have ever seen, it was so bad that me & my mates walked out after 15 minutes & the rest followed & most importantly i can't even remember the name,so i don't blame srk for not working with him

so farah dear does not only want him to work in her thrash of movies but her hubby's to,but finally the duffer srk so sense & refused,but farah's ego can't handle that i suppose

Um...I know Yash Johar was well known and all....but SRK was pretty wel known during the KKHH days too. He had fresh successes such as DDLJ and DTPH and had won numerous awards for them. So definitely, even pre-KKHH, he had become a huge star.
