Amitabh Bachchan is 'tooning'up for new innings

Amitabh confirmed the development and told us that his production house would give further details.

Ramesh Pulapaka, the CEO of AB Corp, said, "We have entered into a three-film deal with Toonz Animation. AB Corp is one of the parties of the deal and Toonz Animation and Turner International together form the other party. Besides the creative side, Turner International is going to be looking at the marketing and distribution of the films across the globe. We are not choosing stories which are specifically India-centric. Instead, we are looking at stories with a global appeal. The films will be targeted towards children."

The first film is underway and the pre-production is over. Tentatively titled 1+1=0 Twinenergy, the production begins from January next year. The budget has been fixed at Rs 25 crore.

"It is a fantasy film. The story is about living beings from another planet trying to connect with the Earth and human beings. The principal characters are twins. They have been developed looking at Mr Bachchan's profile. So, he is lending his voice to the characters," said Pulapaka.

The other two films will release after a few months. "They need time to be developed as we are still working on the storyboard," he added.
