Dumped by Ranbir, Deepika finds solace in family - Page 4

Well she said similar things. "I am too young to be called anyone's Bahu", "My career is the most important thing", when she asked when she'll marry Ranbir she said "Not now" or something like that and then they said will he wait for you she said "ask him".

Honestly, I think they had a pretty similar approach towards the relationship. I don't think one person was more or less committed than the other nor was it a case of one person pining more than the other. Ranbir himself admitted that he did most of the pursuing anyway.

As for his parents comments - well I am not surprised because Rishi Kapoor looks at his own past in the same way - "I used to have a lot of fun too when I was young with girls". Can't hold Ranbir responsible for his father's idiotic comments.

I don't know about their relationship enough to comment on the reasons for things etc.......

No one is a bechari or devdas in it. The relationship worked for both of them. The peak was when both of them appeared for IFFA and were voted the best dressed couple. I was in India and NDTV actually carried an entire segment on just these 2. They looked best in that.

They are young and I am sure they knew that this was not for keeps. It is not like they were married or cheated when they were together. They were loyal with each other and then broke-off and moved on.

The good thing is that they are still friends so we can see their movies together. It would be boring to see Deepika with just Neil and Ranbir with Katrina all the time. There should be more young combinations like Deepika-John/Ranbir/Neil/Abhishek/Hrithik and Ranbir with Sonam/Katrina/Deepika/Priyanka/Genelia so on.

I concur, they are way too young to get committed- and the 2 of them seem totally focussed in their career.
However I assumed they would eventually tie the knot- based on the way they kept away media & publicity from their relationship after the initial period.

Deepika always talks about whenever she takes a break, it will be spending time with her family. I think it's too sweet and home is always where the heart is

hahah..gotta love the media. They start stories about anything...WOW ..shes attending a cousins wedding. Big WHop!

I think it's fantastic that she no longer is with Ranbir. There are so many options out there and she should meet different people, enjoy her young life because you only live young once and then make a commitment.
