Kareena needs to be mroe careful about her statements, definitely, but if you read the article, she kidna says, i think being slim is what I mean by size zero, and she's denied being "size zero" many times, even at the HT Summit and explained how her weight loss just got titled size zero.

But here she had no choice, coz she's endorsing their size zero laptops, so she played it safe by equating size zero in india to being slim 😆

Whatever she equated size zero to, it was STILL a BAD statement to make in public....most people are not going to analyze in what context she said it..what people take home from that satement is that "Kareena Kapoor is proud to be a size zero" and I shudder to think what some young girls might do to get a size zero because it's oh so cool..and India's first zero is PROUD to be one..

Kareena REALLY needs to be careful about what she says because she IS a role model that people look up to..

Its ok, she's leanring slowly. She has a very eloquent lover who'll eventually help her become a bit more word conscience as well, lol. I already see some improvement 😆

Sure.

If you want to quantify yourself as slim then you can use these nice words like "slim" and "slender", she even used one of them right there. Size zero is just that, a size. It is usually quantified as 30"-22"-32" (bust-waist-hips) or less.

I think she's just trying to change the story on us, because she certainly isn't a size zero, and I don't think she ever was the measurements that I pointed out above. Nor did she resemble the actually size zero models, whose pictures another member posted. My friends who are size zero are all under 100 lbs (45 kg), and it's also doubtful that Kareena was ever that low.

I'm not trying to bash her, but I've been wanting to point out the hard facts ever since the "size zero" phenomenon started.

Aside from facts, I think that this is sending a bad message to young girls. I understand there are girls who are naturally very thin and can't gain weight and thus may be a size zero, but it may negatively impact a young Kareena fan who may be a healthy size 10 to take up other means to attain the size. Its even worse that such a big brand actually plays along with it too.

I have a friend who is size zero and she doesnt look like that ^^
she actually is quite healthy & eats A LOT!
but she also works out so she has a pretty fast metabolism
she doesnt look malnourished or unhealthy at all

honestly no one terms her as being size zero, she and the media are the ones that keep on bringing in this whole size zero thing...and honestly, i expected a bit more brains from a company like sony, kareena is what she is, what can u expect from her? she just needs blond hair

True Jess. Jennifer Aniston, Eva Longoria Parker, Jessica Alba, Victoria Secret models are size zeroes and they don't look like that at all. That's malnutritioned models on the pics. In fact, Eva is so petite and slim yet, she has a curvy body...there is no rule that a size zero means no curves. Eva has a shape in her body just like a woman with a larger frame like Beyonce or Jennifer Lopez have.
