I saw the promo and I really like Saif's acting and look in the trailer, but I'm really not appreciating Kareena's acting over here, I mean barring the last few shots, she's acting a bit TOOOO coy, much more coy than what is required., I mean I liked her acting in the previous trailer, but over here she's just simply overacting. It seems like she's playing to the camera tbh.

I like this song, I already have it on my ipod hehe.

Just one thing though, I am friends with a lot of moderate muslims (moderate cuz they curse, don't wear hijabs and don't pray 5 times a day) so even though they are moderate and they are born and brought up in America, when it comes to marriage and dating talks, all of them say that they wont even hold hands with their husbands in public. I was pretty shocked when they told me this, considering the fact that they're not even conservative muslims. I think Desu said that Saif plays a conservative muslim, so I don't understand the PDA. Rensil should have thought about this.

are your friends girls or guys? The moderate guys I know wouldn't mind showing PDA. But I would understand if some girls wouldn't want to.

It could be complicated Riya because I believe Saif's character tries to manipulate/use her in some way to get to the US. (not sure about this). So then the PDA could just be a way of playing along.

But I am not too sure I have the details right so I could be wrong.

Thent hey're not as moderate as they say Riya. They're a bit on the conservative side. It really depends from person to person.

And in pakistan, youngsters nowadyas are a lot more open that the muslims brought up in america, lol

I'm muslim, come from a muslim background.

And I can tell you, all my friends hold hands wiht their boyfriends/husbands. I've seen my aunt and uncles being affectionate, and hold hands when they recently got married.

So rensil is pretty accurate.

Saif and Kareean are a modern day couple. Its realistic that they are shown being affectionate.

But in a very subtle way..till the end atleast, but come on, even that's reality, lol

Ya that would be rather odd.. that you cant hold your bf's or hubby's hand in public. I have seen many muslim couples showing PDA in India and also abroad.. This is the first time I am hearing something like this..

Even in Pakistan yaar, lol!

I mean we all have the perception but its not reality. Couples are very much out and about, and affectionate, just like any other couple, though within certain limits, lol.
