I did a search for tweets sent to him and the only visible video was this one. Maybe he didn't even watch the video and favourited it before watching it to be nice to the fan.

And I watched that interview you mentioned and it was pretty obvious he was joking when he said that. In fact he said that as he was trying to avoid answering a question by one of the callers.

I don't think him favoriting a video is THAT big a deal, honestly. As everyone says, this is a fan-made link up. If he favorited a video with Priyanka in it, the MEDIA would grab ahold of it and blow it up. So, Shahid's probably just appreciating a video that he knows won't get him in trouble.

I doubt Shahid is dating Rani and I doubt Shahid is dating Priyanka.Its just the minds of hyperactive fans going overboard as usual. Thankfully no one linked him up with Vidya. Or else we'd have rabid Vidyashi fangirls opening up topics 24/7.

Uh - huh, this forum only finds Rani's thunder thighs attractive and Priyanka's swollen lips sexy, so fan girls are bent on hooking him up with one of the two. They could possibly never think of linking him up with Vidya because she's 'fat,' 'big,' 'old,' 'aunty' etc.

By the end they were actually serious.

Shahid is lovely; a complete delight to work with. He has grown as an actor step-by-step. He was good fun because we got along really well. If we have not been linked yet, then do it now, what is the harm?

Would there not be harm if the stories was false? I mean their friendship can suffer, families suffer from the rumors, any potential future girlfriend or boyfriend.How did these two people who have stated they hate link-up rumors with Adi, Vidya and Priyanka suddenly be so willing to accept their own link-up story?😕

Yet some fans are believing it? Is it sensitive to raise doubt in the minds of fans? It will not get him in trouble with the media but why continue to inspire doubt in the minds of the fans? He clearly knows that there could be a lot of fans asking this same question as the one asked in the video and he should have known that favoriting this one would raise so many unnessesary doubts if he was not dating Rani.
