I agree with the rest tho I have to say that IF is one of the more saner places on the web as compared to pinkvilla etc. But that being said there is no reason why it cant be better than it currently is.
I know its hard but when one signs up as a moderator they have to make sure that they are unbiased.
To the OP who opened this thread I have always found you to be a super moderator :)

for starters, one thing the mods can do is at least be fair when giving out warnings... and just because people hit the report button, mods should be able to use their own judgement to decide what is and what is not bashing...

people were given warnings for the silliest of reasons but then fangirls started bashing the members, it was all okay... WHY...???

and this is not new... i have actually seen some of the mods (whom i shall not name here) comment in the same thread, so i find it hard to believe that they can't have seen the posts that included obvious member bashing...

criticising a celeb imo, is not as bad, as long as people are not doing any name calling... but just because something negative is said about some people's favourite, why do fans feel it is okay to start calling all sorts of names and make personal comments about other members... do they even know anything about the other member...??

and lately, it has been more apparent that if one shares a favourite with some of the mods, mods don't feel the need to reprimand that member but will give out warnings for the silliest of reasons to others because their favourites are criticised...!!

and it's hilarious that some topics are locked but not a single warning is given out to some members who clearly are involved in bashing, and looking at the trend, they all shared the same favourite... is that just a coincidence...?? somehow, that seems a bit stretched...

some topics are locked without any reason and when i read the topic, i don't even see anything that was offensive... how long does it take for the mod to at least cite a reason for closing certain topics...?? if you are a mod, you have a responsibility to address the concern of ALL members, not just the few who whine about smallest of things and then in other threads, openly bash other members...!!

i highly doubt that my post would have any result whatsoever, but what the heck...

A few quick questions to the mods:

Why was the previous topic closed without any warning?

Why wasn't the previous topic reopened?

Finally, why was it trashed?

Perhaps the channel used was not appropriate for this forum, but members addressed some important concerns in there. I don't believe there was anything in that topic that broke IF's COC. We still have no answers to the questions raised earlier.

Also, I would love it, if I see a response to Sanam's questions.

I think that entire thread is filled with Ash bashing. I'm referring to the use of the word "s***" by a member. I think thunder thighs takes precedence any day over s*** in terms of nice words.

Since we are posting are concerns I had a few:

1. Topics started on BS should not and are not for X or Y's fans only. Other people should be able to comment - negatively or positively.

2. There was a lot of name-calling and bashing going on in the Aish and Abhishek at the Durga pooja thread so it would be nice if a mod looked into it.

3. Without naming names it is pretty obvious that Rani and Katrina criticism is taken as bashing while others are ignored. I see a pretty strong bias active on the part of the mod there.
