Aap Ki Adalat with Sach Ka Saamna Team

The top honchos of India's late night reality show 'Sach ka Saamna' are grilled this weekend in India TV's longest running courtroom show, Rajat Sharma's Aap KI Adalat.

Anchor Rajiv Khandelwal, the show's producer and eminent quizmaster Siddhartha Basu, Star TV official Anupam Vasudev and two contestants Bobby Darling and Yusuf Hassan face the grilling from Rajat Sharma over Sach Ka Saamna, and the questions relating to personal privacy which has shocked society and parliamentarians alike.

Asked by a housewife one Mrs Bhattacharjee in Aap Ki Adalat whether he would subject himself to questions relating to his personal privacy in Sch Ka Saamna, Rajiv Khandelwal replied: "Mujhe jis din himmat aa jayegi us din main bhi Sach Ka Saamna karoonga. The grilling that went on, both from anchor Rajat Sharma and from the audience, saw Khandelwal blasting Baba Ramdev, saying all those Babas who sit and pass judgements about his reality show should first go and help those girls who are victims of rape and molestation. Thundered Rajiv: " Let the Baba understand the reality of life. Sixty per cent of our contestant have told me their lives have become better after taking part in our show". *Does a full on bhangra....or shud I say Garba...since its Navratri anyways*....Call me a Sadist if u must.......But this was longggggggggggggg overdue for Baba Ramdev.........Woot Woot Rajeev........I pledge you my lifelong loyalty as fan for saying all that to crook baba.....who waits for a controversy to present itself so that he can jump and claim attention by talking about it....Go to the Himalayas Baba....😆 ...Huhahaha.......waiting for the part 2 of this segment....

Siddhartha Basu pointed out India's motto Satyamev Jayate to say that sex was only part of life, and that too, a small part. "We should have the courage to face reality and let people express the truth in front of all".

When Rajat Sharma queried whether Indian society was prepared to face such realities, both Basu and Khandelwal said that the Indian society was changing fast and judging by the number of family disputes and divorce cases pending in courts, it was but better that people should come out of their closets.

Rajat Sharma pointed out that the governments in Greece and Colombia had banned the "Moment of Truth" reality show, on which Sach Ka Saamna is based. Basu replied that India need not follow countries like Greece and Colombia. "We in India try to do this responsibly", he said.

Khandelwal said, I am not asking the truth within the confines of a confessional or inside a house, but in front of 100 crore Indians. One needs courage to face the truth in front of such a big audience. He claimed that most of the contestants who participated in the show had later mailed him to say that their lives have become better.

When Rajat Sharma read out two newspaper reports of couples resorting to suicide and murder after getting 'inspired' from Sach Ka Samna, the Star TV representative Anupam Vasudev claimed that the channel had verified one of the incidents and found that the couple had no TV set in their home!

Basu clarified about the reliability of the polygraph machine saying that the certified polygraphers were approved by the FBI. "It is an objective test. Nobody says, nor do we say that the polygraph is 100 per cent foolproof but it helps to find out the truth by not reading the mind or the heart, but the body".

Basu's contention was contradicted by one contestant Yusuf Hussain who said that with a little practice, one can cheat a polygraph machine.
