Thank you, Divya. I was afraid I wouldn't get to see it.

He is so down-to-earth and I love how he mentions that all filmmakers have the freedom to show whatever they want; it's just that some choose to keep showing the same old. Interesting bit on his mom too; I don't think I've heard him mention about her before.

We are smarter. 😉 I loved the part about us creating our own path.

Is he getting bored of direction? 😲

I love how he constantly clarifies, "I am not interested in acting."

Thanks for posting. I really like how he's so normal and unaffected in the way he talks....no starry airs.

And I loved what the interviewer said about his movies....SNT remains the best undoubtedly...for the exact reason that she mentioned....now since Imtiaz himself says that there was no pressure on him for making commercial compromises....it can only be concluded that he has changed as a person like he himself said. Which is valid....everyone's a work in progress...but someday it would be nice to re-capture the mindset he had when he made SNT.....cuz that was something truly special.

I hope I'm able to enjoy his next movie like I enjoyed SNT and JWM.

I just watched this on TV twice! Imtiaz is so humble and nice.

And yes Kully I liked that he said that LAK was the film that he wanted to make. And didn't I say earlier in the review topic that this film works on a subliminal level (Well not the exact words - but I think I said it was subtle and understated).

I liked everything you said Kully. The part about having to create your own path is so insightful and interesting. And yeah nice to see him talk about his mother. He doesn't really talk much about his private life. I think I have got more information about his background from Anurag Kashyap than Imtiaz himself.

And Nureat: This man is so unbelievable humble. I still cannot believe that he keeps interacting with people on Facebook. His film has released and is a big success. But he still shows up to respond to all the comments - positive and negative.

That's really nice to know, bluemoon. I've always liked the guy for his humbleness too. I'm intrigued though to know what he will say about LAK when he has the distance of a couple of years from it.....the same way his viewpoint changed about JWM and SNT.

I liked how he said that there must be some mistakes if ppl are saying that they liked it more the second time😆.....I unfortunately wasn't one of those ppl either.....my opinion remained unchanged even on a second viewing...lol

Yeah I would like to know how he feels about the film in the future too. I am sure there will be a lot more negatives - because he isn't someone who boasts about his own films.

After watching LAK three times I would say that I like it better than Jab We Met, but I can't decide between Socha Na Tha and Love Aaj Kal.
