Rani Mukherjee Comes Full Circle

When Rani Mukherjee signed Saathiya back in 2002, she only had that film in hand and apparently told family and friends that if the film didn't work, she would quit films. Luckily for her, the film went on to become a raging hit putting Rani back on track. From there on there was no looking back. However, things eventually came to a roaring halt and once again, Rani finds herself back at square one. She only has Dil Bole Hadippa - yet again Yash Raj comes to her rescue.

Talking about Yash Raj, the ex-reigning queen is "fed up" of constantly hearing rumors about industrywala's claiming that she only believes in working for Yash Raj. Rani believes that it is simply the "jealous actresses" who are making such claims. However, she has been heard saying, "I won't do anything just because it's expected of me. My heart has to be in it." She is currently hearing scripts from many directors outside her "home" banner but will only decide which to sign after DBH releases.

For her role in Dil Bole Hadippa, Rani is said to have worked ultra-hard on her body and dancing, "Rani decided to work round-the-clock on her figure so that she could do the sizzling dance numbers with Shahid. She also spent hours with her choreographer-friend Vaibhavi Merchant so that she could deftly match steps with Shahid."
