In Sonam Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra's words, " fat suits hai na".
So I guess it would be safe to say thats a consensus among all the actresses. I don't think any of them would gain weight to play Bridget Jones.
Well if they can lose weight for a role then why not gain it.. Thats why these girls arent actresses in true sense but they are stars.. An actor should be ready to do anything for a role.True, I agree which is why I admire actors like DDL, CB who change their weight, body language, accent as the script dictates. Nothing wrong with actors who don't do that, but for me, like you said, they are more of stars than actors. But yes most actresses would totally lose weight if they had to portray insecurities driven by Anorexia.😉Anywayz k so even if they wear a fat suit.. who can pull it of.. These girls have done diva roles.. who can pull off bridget's role.. which is more than being a fat girl...Sure, thats correct, but most of Bridget Jones' insecurities (that drives the movie) arises out of her body image issues. If she wasn't overweight, there probably wouldn't have been a Bridget Jones.
