Mumbai: Just a few minutes after news spread that Aamir Khan's much-eyed flick '3 Idiots' has been delayed, in an exclusive statement to Spicezee he stated that all such reports are false and the film keeping in line with his last two superhits 'Ghajini' and 'Taare Zameen Par' will hit theatres on December 25.
Speaking to Spicezee, Aamir said, "The film is officially and unofficially releasing on December 25 on the same date that 'Ghajini' and 'Taare Zameen Par' were relased previously."
Based on the popular novel 'Five Point Someone' by writer Chetan Bhagat, the flick is touted to be one of the most awaited films this year. Starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi, the film is made by the talented producer-director duo Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajukumar Hirani.
The news of a delay in the release date got around after a daily stated that the film is unlikely to release this year due to a glitch with the producers committee.
However, with Aamir clearing the air it's time to say cheers again.
