They may be known for being the arch rivals, but after his latest film KAMBAKKHT ISHQ is being torn apart by the critics, Akshay Kumar is trying all tricks in his bag to save his sinking grace.

Though Akshay and Kareena Kapoor threw a party to celebrate the grand opening their film has made across theatres, Akshay also used the opportunity to call up SRK and invite him to be part of his grand celebration. Since he's shooting abroad, SRK couldn't obviously be part of the function, but the gesture by Akki is surely making news.

Akki in the past had blamed his competitors for using their clout to undermine his success. But, now by calling the King of B-Town personally, looks like the Khiladi is planning to play his game differently.
