Shiney is not alone!

Over the years, several Bollywood actors, big and small have walked down this troubled path. Anupam Kher lost his marbles when a film monthly accused him of trying to molest actress Mamta Kulkarni's sister; Jackie Shroff saw red when film actor Farah Naaz told a magazine that he acted 'fresh' with her younger sister Tabu who was barely 15 at the time of the incident; 70s superstar Rajesh Khanna landed himself in a mess when yesteryear actress Amita's 15-year-old daughter Sabiha accused the man who was closer to her mother's age of 'molesting' her. The brouhaha that followed in Kaka's case was one of the most shameful chapters in Bollywood film history.

Of course, the most infamous chapter in recent history is the one where starlet Preeti Jain accused Madhur Bhandarkar of repeatedly raping her after promising her a commitment that he never kept. The remains of that day still haunt Madhur who has moved on to several award-winning moments in his film career, because even as recently as 2008, Preeti Jain spoke of how she would fight for justice till her dying day.

Bollywood has always been controversial, full of scandals and never short of drama. Whatever happens in this Shiney Ahuja case, it will tarnish the image of the Industry as a whole.

All I can say is hopefully the truth will prevail!
