^^ i agree! i liked the song (still listen to it on my way to work during the LONGGG commute) but i think it wasn't choreographed well in the movie.. out of all the item numbers in billo barber, i think both deepika and priyanka were wonderful, but kareena, again lacked.

And she threw in a mauja hi mauja move in the middle

that would be cool if we can have an actress in bollywood who really knows how to bellydance, funny i was thinking about this just the other day that no one in bollywood knows how to bellydance..BUT...i think this is one of those situations where something is highlighted to bring attention to an event or an actress/actor in particular...like they did with Kajol, she supposedly learned salsa for her role in U me Aur HUM?...and whatever she did in the movie was really anything but salsa...

oh yeah, bollywood moves are very similar to bellydancing...just minor changes, so i dont really doubt her potential in achieving this art..

Sorry but didnt Kareena Kapoor say that she refused a movie with Johny Depp because she didnt want to do any international movies. Wow you can always expect her to contradict herself.

Of course not, she was never offered the movie but as we all know Most actress like to exaggerate these kinds of things. Kareena said she was sooo busy to even find out what the movie was & didnt want any international exposure. She had time to talk about this movie to media but didnt have time to read the script.

I'm Sure Preity did a kind of arabian type dance in IIFA a few years ago! Though i love the song marjaani so can't wait to see the performance and Shiamak is an excellent choreographer so i'm sure Kareena will be able to pull it off. :)
