Man detained for making threat calls to US embassy Published: May 10,2009 Feedback Sign in to Email Print Discussion Aurangabad (Bihar), May 10 A 30-year-old man, seemingly deranged, from Aurangabad district has been detained for allegedly making threat calls to the UN office and US embassy in Delhi, police said today. The district superintendent of police, S Ravindaran, said that Ranjan Kumar, a graduate who till recently was preparing for different competitive examinations in New Delhi, called up the US embassy a few days ago and threatened to blow it up if Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor was not 'handed over' him. Ravindaran said Kumar, son of a retired railway officer, of Darbhanga village, also made frequent calls to the UN office, asking for removal of India from the world body, lest he would plant a bomb there.
