The deadlock between the United Producer-Distributor Forum (UPDF) and the nationwide Multiplexes could very well come to an end soon.
In a meeting last Wednesday, the core committees between the two groups met and have come to an agreement on the main issues raised by the UPDF.
A source present at the meeting says, "The meeting held at the Yash Raj Film's office in Andheri has been the best dialogue the two parties had since the strike began two months ago. For the first time since the producers stopped releasing movies, the multiplexes came to them with an offer."
