His confidence in choosing such a project to be his first is amazing.

His smile, his wink, his walk, his talk, the slight lift of the eyebrow, the slight biting of the inner lower lip, the VULNERABLE look which nobody else can give...
A performance that squeezes/tugs the heart.

Saw the movie in a theatre on two consecutive days, the opening day and the next day. Many were there because they could not get tickets for "Sarkar Raj" that was released on the same day. But for the first time I saw audience stand and clap at the end, on both the days.

Hope he gets the National award.

Desu, great post! I watched Aamir long time ago and it was AMAZING! One of the best movies of 2008, no songs, no gimmicks, no actress, NOTHING. Rajeev and the RajKumar carried the movie on their shoulders, the direction was par excellence and Rajeev was superb. The movie was so interesting, I was literally sitting and bitting my nails in excitement.

Cant believe Rajeev didnt even win a single award for it. Imraan and Farhan took all of them....when they were no where near Rajeev's performance

My Masi is a huge fan of Rajeev!!!She went in depression when he left kahin to hoga LOLZ 😆 She was raving about the film and told me to watch it. ANd yup, I was quite impressed. I'm glad Rajeev left the serial coz it wasn't doing justice to his talent. Aamir was the perfect way for him to showcase his talent.

He didnt want the essence of his character spoilt....And his fans love him for that !! That was one of the 3 TV shows I have ever seen(all 3 being his shows....I watched the shows only for him😆..) .....Lol...even tho i didnt see the starting and ending of KTH.....Hahah.....My cable guy was on a strike.....and wasnt even allowing anyone else to supply cable in our colony🤢....!!

Infact......even when he decided to quit initially....Ekta made her mom-dad intervene and meet him to convince him to stay on the show....and he was promised a better realistic script.....So he respected Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor and stayed on for 2/3 months, but nothing changed....so he quit...!

This was the first and last time Jeetendra and his wife ever stepped in to convince an actor to stay on....That was his importance to the show!! Needless to say the show lost its TRP's the day he quit and never regained them...!😕

Me even loved Ketan Mehta's (Mangal Pandey fame) TV venture...- Time Bomb.....Rajeev rocked as i....the RAW cop⭐️.....! He was just wowwww⭐️......! Hehehe!!

But yeahhhh.......his 3rd show - Left Right Left😳 was the best show on air on Indian Tele.............Ahhh.........that military uniform looked soooo scrumptious on him.....Has to be seeen to be believed.......It showed that he is from an Army family.....! And its sooo cute when he says....My dad and my brother are in the army....!!😳

And AAMIR..............is like.............leaps and bounds above everything............It was a huge risk as a debut.....coz when a film works ....everyone gets the acclaim.......but if things had gone wrong with Aamir.......they wud have crucified Rajeev..........as the entire onus of the film was on him and him alone.......no one else !!😳

See what I mean about being obsessed.......I cud go on and on and on and on........................! And never get tired of it.....!

And it takes hours to read up what I have written .....😆
