Ken Ghosh's Yahoo is slowly getting back on its feet

After fielding a lot of trouble and controversies, Ken Ghosh's Yahoo (working title) is finally back on track and will resume shoot from May 1. Now starring Genelia D'Souza (remember how Jiah Khan was chucked out?) and Shahid Kapur, UTV has taken Yahoo under its wings, our source informs. "Ken Ghosh," our source adds, "will only direct the film now. Also, Shahid and choreographer Ahmed Khan are working on the film with renewed efforts." "Yahoo is under severe budget constraints and top it with the fact that several portions will have to be reshot due to replacement of their lead actress only makes matters more difficult. But yes, since Shahid and Ahmed are taking extra efforts, there is no reason why the extra help to Yahoo will not pay dividends," our source adds.
UTV's Production head Alpana says "No changes have been done with respect to Yahoo except that Jiah is no longer a part of the film." However, Ken Ghosh didn't deny that he would be having longer shifts to complete the film quickly. He says, "We are shooting 55 eight-hour shifts in 35 days including all reshoots, which is very cool. And I was never really producing Yahoo. My company is still the line producer." |
