Imran, Shahid refuse Pradeep Sarkar’s next

Director Pradeep Sarkar is having a tough time finding an actor for his next YRF film.

It may be recalled that after the debacle of Laaga Chunri Mein Daag, Pradeep was to start another film for the YRF banner. However, according to industry sources, the director has been refused by not one, but two actors already.

Says our source, "Pradeep wanted to cast Imran Khan and then Shahid Kapur as the lead. Like all YRF films the subject of Pradeep's film is also kept under wraps."

There were reports of Pradeep approaching Vidya Balan and Abhishek Bachchan, but nothing materialised. When contacted Pradeep Sarkar said, "I am working on three scripts simultaneously and have not yet decided on which one I am going to make." When asked if Imran and Shahid had said no to his film Pradeep replied, "I will decide on the lead cast once I zero in on the script."
