Style Mantra: Velvet Fever
You can blame it on the winter season or their stylist's choice, but everyone from Amitabh Bachchan to Rekha to Asin was seen in velvet outfits and not very nice ones at that. Take a look at celebrities who tried to make a statement in velvet and restart the velvet trend.
| Like Father, Like Son: Both father and son has worn very similar velvet jackets. Amitabh looks like a magician as his coat is so shiny, it hurts the eye. Abhishek fares only slightly better. |
| Colour Coincidence: Newcomers Asin and Anushka wore similar colour velvet outfits to their first media interaction events. Both ladies carry off the bright and shiny outfits well but Anushka does it better than Asin. |
| Directors' Cut: Both Anurag Kashyap and his mentor Sudhir Mishra wore different shades of brown velvet jackets to the premiere of Dev D. We like Sudhir's brown against blue and Anurag's dark chocolate isn't bad either. |
