Mumbai, October 14: GOA did the trick.
All is fine between Bollywood star Karisma Kapoor and her Delhi-
based industrialist husband Sunjay Kapur. The couple, whose marriage
had hit a rocky patch recently, are back together in their Delhi
home. Karisma left for the capital with Sunjay and seven-month-old
baby Samaira on October 12.
Dad Randhir Kapoor confirmed the patch-up. ''Yes, everything is
okay. Karisma is back in Delhi with her husband and baby,'' he said.
Kapoor termed the marital discord ''mere ego clashes.'' ''I'm glad
that they handled it like mature people. Let's hope they are happy
together,'' he said.
News about problems in the marriage started doing the rounds when
Karisma came to Mumbai during her pregnancy.
There were reports of Karisma demanding an alimony of Rs 7 crore.
The couple was also embroiled in a legal battle over Samaira's
passport. Friends close to the couple said the marriage was not
working because Karisma didn't approve of her husband's lifestyle.
Others countered by saying she didn't want to live in Delhi.
The Goa holiday was seen as a last attempt at a reconciliation on
the eve of their second wedding anniversary in September.
''The elders in the family advised them to spend some time away from
the distractions of Mumbai. I'm glad they listened and sorted out
the problems. The family is very relieved,'' adds Kapoor.
