 The petite Sonam Kapoor has chosen to break her silence after popular columnist Shobhaa De poked fun at the actress in one of her blogs, and wrote "Sonam just doesn't cut it in the sex appeal stakes" referring to Sonam's airbrushed photo-op in which she is posed in lingerie.All this has Sonam fuming to the hilt and reacting to Shobhaa's 'nasty' comments, the actress said "For a 60-something po*n writer, I am sure she (Shobhaa) knows what she's talking about." And if this wasn't all, Ms Kapoor has also turned a spokesperson for foe-turned-friend Deepika, who also had to bear the brunt of Shobhaa's hard-hitting comments (Shobhaa had written- Deepika P is the 'sexiest woman on earth? Are they kidding me? She would not win a Miss Dombivali contest. I mean, look at her closely. Go on: jawline? Too wide. Eyes? Bulging Hair line? Untidey. Speech? Verni). Sonam defended by saying, "If she (Shobhaa) thinks Deepika is ordinary then she sure needs to wear glasses. Her eyesight is failing her."
