Surya ofcourse, aamir himself said yesterday in his interview that he tried to copy Surya and he failed miserably.

Surya set the standard, all those who said aamir didnt have much dialogues and spoke volumes with his eyes, watch Surya. He was fantastic with his eyes and expressions.

No offense to aamir fans, I do admire him and his acting but as far as ghajini goes, surya all the way

Definitely surya. Aamir did a very good job though. Surya is much younger and was able to carry it off easily.

I saw both the versions. I hv seen Tamil Ghajini Many times n i saw Hindi Ghajini 2day. No doubt Surya was fantastic nut aamir Has taken the role of sanjay to an altogether diff level. so for me Aamir

I hv seen few rushes of both Tamil and Hindi version and from that I could make out that both r fantastic😃...because Surya is the one who created the character ..so I will go with Surya here😊

Between I m one of the biggest fans of Aamir and I m sure he is getting all the awards this year😃..oh forgot he will not come to collect it though😆😉

i m not sure actually. surya ws absolutely awesome in tamil.. bt in some scenes aamir beats him.. and i felt hindi ghajini ending much better than tamil..

so i am saying 50-50

aftre Watching Hindi, i also catched Tamil version's many scenes specially end

and for me In scenes with Kalpana, the whole love story, Aamir was better and in the rest of parts both were rocking and i liked Tamil end better

so for me Both are Equal......

i have watched both versions....in fact i have watched the tamil ghajini 5 times even before i know that the movie is going to come out in hindi with my fav crush actor who i was always in love with since the age of 10 when i saw qayamat se qayamat tak to taare zameen par and the person is none other than my love before Shahid that is Aamir Khan.....

well comparing aamir and surya for the same role....

here goes my take...

yes Surya did awesome job i have no words to describe how he portrayed Sanjay Ramasamy so beautifully i just fallen in love with him from the business tycoon to the killer machine beast....he was mesmersing and my preference goes to Surya more because he created Sanjay Ramasamy and Manohar(his fake identity to woo asin)

now for Aamir...Aamir brought Sanjay Singhania to the whole different level that i could not even imagine in the tamil version....his eyes...anger..despair..pain..tears just portrays all the emotions he has for asin...such a natural performance he lived the character Sanjay Singhania....i never see him as Aamir but Sanjay....and even his portrayal as the lover boy Sachin uff he just brought it to one level above with all his expressions and also being a poet....

if Surya created and gave life to Sanjay Ramasamy and Manohar in his own style than Aamir created and gave life to Sanjay Singhania and Sachin in his own way.....

i can never compare these two actors because they both are on the same league that is called Versatile Actors...they portrays all types of roles with perfection.....

they both created and gave life to Sanjay in their own ways....but Aamir brought it to a different level because the climax was changed to the best so his emotions of loosing Kalpana(asin)was more intense and passionate than in Tamil Version which had a very weird climax ending that brought a little down of the emotional angle.....

in my eyes...both portrayed the character on their own ways.....and i am glad that the most lovable character of Tamil Cinema Sanjay Ramasamy was done by Aamir Khan in the hindi version....

as far for the ending i loved the hindi ending...i never liked the tamil ending
