Should Amitabh Bachchan stop carrying a gun ?

Should Amitabh Bachchan stop carrying a gun and be allowed to hold licenses for 3 guns ?

At least he should be careful of publicizing ( on his blog and otherwise allowing media to publicize) the fact that he has 3 guns. He is a well known figure recgonised in every Indian household, a celebrity and an icon. Many look upto him in India and abroad and emulate him.

We dont want us Indians to go the US way and see the negative aspects of losing gun control. As it is the number of shooting incidents by kids at schools this last year by using their fathers guns has increased. Amitabh needs to think of the message he is sending to the comman Indian that its ok to carry your gun with you to pubic places and that its ok to have a gun at home. Have you guys seen the movie/documentary Bowling for Columbine ( same director who made Fahrenheit 9/11) ? It shows how the mess and lack of gun control in the US.

I do understand what you mean am not sure if he actually did have a gun i think it was more a methapor, though suppose could be influential on kids.

i don't think it's good idea to have guns at home, but if he thinks it's gonna make him safe ....i would say go for it
