Clash of the titans
Abhishek Bachchan is sore about his forthcoming film Dilli 6 and Shah Rukh Khan's Billoo Barber releasing on the same day

Shah Rukh Khan Abhishek Bachchan

A clash at the box office is imminent as Shah Rukh Khan's Billoo Barber (Red Chillies Entertainment) and Rakesh Omprakash Mehra's Dilli 6(UTV) are expected to hit the theatres on February 13, 2009. Reportedly Abhishek Bachchan is unhappy with the films releasing on the same day.

A source close to UTV says, "Abhishek has worked hard on Dilli 6. He fears that Shah Rukh's Billoo Barber may overshadow his performance in Dilli 6. He has asked UTV to postpone the film," said our source.

"Dilli 6 was to be released this year but got postponed. UTV initially had plans to release Main Aur Mrs Khanna on February 13 but have now slotted Dilli 6 for that day. Several major films will be released in January 2009. March is examination time as HSC, SSC and most other major exams are held and IPL matches begin in April.

Considering these factors UTV doesn't want to postpone the release of Dilli 6," our source added and it seems that UTV's decision has not found favour with Abhishek Bachchan.

We contacted UTV's Ram Mirchandani but he refused to comment and told us to speak to UTV's official spokesperson Shruti who remained unavailable all evening.

If the movie is good and his perfomance is good he wont be overshadowed

Doesn't matter when a movie comes out.... it's the ratings from the viewers that matters.
Name only takes people to the movie theatre, but it's the general public who decides the fate of the movie, lol.

I don't think it matters either. Both could do well.
