This is a pair which has rarely been seen together. They were last seen together in Khakee directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, which was some four years ago. Yes, we are talking about the King of the box office, Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai. Trust producer-director Vipul Shah to get them together again after so many years.
Shah is believed to have signed Akshay, who is his favourite, opposite Ash in a film called Action Replay. Of course, it comes as a surprise that Shah has not signed Katrina Kaif opposite Akshay for the film. The Akshay-Katrina jodi got the actual boost from Shah's Namastey London. But it seems that Shah has decided to switch favours to Ash. Actor Arjun Rampal, currently on a roll, has also been signed for the project. The film's shooting is scheduled to begin in February. According to reports, the film will also have a period setting, harking back to Mumbai of the 1950s, which will all be recreated by Nitin Desai.
