 Bipasha Basu's small screen outings seem to be going wrong for her. At the recent Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar finale, the actress refused to share screen space with Vidya Balan and Shahid Kapoor. Now in another Star Plus show, Aajaa Mahi Vay, in which she was promoting her upcoming flick Bachna Ae Haseeno, Bips felt she was getting a raw deal. The Bong bombshell along with Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba shot for the episode on Sunday at Cinevistaas Studio, Kanjur Marg. Apparently, the actress had made it clear to the film's producers, Yash Raj, that she'd do a jig only to her track, Lucky Boy. She had reservations about Khuda Jaane, which has been filmed on Ranbir and Deepika. Says a unit source, "Bipasha spoke her mind to the channel folk and appeared miffed over Yash Raj not promoting her as the lead actress of the film." Adds the source, "Realising what was happening, Deepika started giving Bipasha the cold shoulder though Bips was very warm towards her. Minissha Lamba seemed to be the least affected in this 'game'." To make matters worse, the show's producers (Contiloe Films) felt that Lucky Boy was not fitting into the flow of things in the episode. "Though it was shot, the track may go missing from the episode," points out the source. Says a hassled Bipasha, "These are half-baked facts and will only complicate matters. All of us had a great time on the sets and we shot for 12 hours. All the songs from the film were played." Aajaa Mahi Vay has non-celeb couples who are dating each other shake a leg. The judges include Ronit Roy, Shweta Tiwari and Apara Mehta. |
