Saif's ex-wife returns as vamp

The return of Amrita Singh in the industry has astonished many people, who see her working on a small-screen in Ekta Kapoor's mediocre Kkvayanjali.

But it didn't take Amrita too long to reach, where she actually belongs - the silver screen. And what better way to start than working for your old friend.

Amrita has just been signed for Mahesh Bhatt's latest venture Kalyug to be directed by Mohit Suri. The film is Bhatt's 'War against po*nography', in which Amrita pitches in as a vamp.

"I play the negative lead in the film. It deals with the po*nographic world and I am in control of it and did it for Mahesh Bhatt, with whom I did Naam, Kabzaa, and Thikana," she says.

Earlier this year she was scheduling to feature in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna of Karan Johar's after saying goodbye to Saif Ali Khan.
